La Madeleine - Waco

I enjoy coming to this La Madeleine. The food is good. I usually get a half sandwich with soup, salad or pasta. The pastries are delicious especially the Sache Torte! Food might have been good if it wasn't cold when it should have been warm/hot...it was ice cold. Ham ag ccx swiss cheese on toasted bread. I will try it one more, but to be sure it's served hot. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

I ordered a large fruit tart online for pickup at 4 pm for my Mother’s birthday and when we arrive to pick it up I was told they sold the last one even though I paid ahead to avoid this situation. They gave us 6 individual instead but I’m just disappointed I wasn’t given the large one. We even attempted to pick up the order early around 1)but we were told we had to wait up to 20 minutes before the order time so they knew hours ahead +the overnight order confirmation)that we had an order for the tart. Someone could have contacted me so I could cancel the order or at least baked one for us.
