The staff that served outdoor drinks was very good, the energy from the place was great. We would be happy to go back, even if there is no event. First experience was great!!
4 stars for brunch, 1.5 to 2 stars for Saint Patrick's Day. All 3 bartenders inside ignored people for a whole 20 minutes when I arrived (Tip: do not open a tab Cuz you can never see your card again. Order food and drinks outside and come back to the Irrgarten) When I called to the service, all three bartenders looked at me, rolled their eyes and continued to work and did not take a drink order. The bartender, who finally picked up my order after a 35-minute waiting period, tried to make eye contact and lift my hand, did not know how to make an Irish car bomb in an Irish pub at St. Patrick's Day. He didn't give us a full shot, more like 1/3 of a shot, and we had to pour a plastic cup into another. Later in the night I saw real Irish car bombs empty on tables with the glass bowls in a glass of pint glass. Very disappointed that I had to tell him how to make the drink, and then I had to remind him that it was a shot of whiskey and Baileys when he just gave us 1/3 of a shot of Baileys. **** attitudes of bar staff. For some reason, guys could get light drinks where women were totally ignored. Normally it's reversed, so don't know what it was about. No staff was with tables, so I made our table full of food and drinks cups of a few rounds of people who sat their previous and also saw that others had their own tables through lack of service. Signed invoices were everywhere. Not sure how their books balance with lost revenue at the end of the night. Have in the night some free shots of the males that were the ones that primarily take care of. Maybe it's a sexist thing that men are bread earners so they have the money and so serve them. I'm not from Texas, so I don't know the cultural standards yet. I was one of three graduated trained women who kick ass and take names as boss Babes in our daily life, so... this business and this bartender missed a lot of money by not serving women alike. I'm really good when I take care of and order several drinks. I ordered one that was not properly made and drank water the rest of the night less the free shots of male cartridges
First, I want to say that our waitress Teresa was very nice. Although she was new, she had a great demeanor and delivered great customer service. The food wasn't impressive. I ordered the Devil's eggs and to be honest, it tasted Blande. His only saving grace was the cut bacon with which it was cut off. My champagne mimosa was okay. My tab only ended with $20. I will probably not come back unless one of my employees asks me to come back.
Absolutely fantastic drinks and a wonderful atmosphere! If you're searching for a great way to spend your Friday night, make your way to J.S. Barnett's Whiskey House. We visited to catch the performance of Ghosts of Hill County, and every aspect of our experience was incredible. Dez provided us with excellent beer and delicious tacos. Be sure not to miss the pineapple – it's simply mouthwatering! When you're in Silos, Barnett is a must-visit. If you need to reach out to the amazing Dez, just look for her in the photos!
Excellent brunch and equally amazing service! Loved the vibe and decor and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
