Hawaiian Bros Island Grill - Waco

Really not a bad place if you're looking for food QUICK. The double drive thru also helped promote the fast mentality. The food had a lot of sauce to it which made it extra salty. Also the Mac salad had a lot of Mayo. Too much Mayo. I also expected the macaroni salad to be somewhat sweet but sadly it wasn't. This place has potential but has areas to improve. I will go back but more out of quick convenience rather than a night out. The atmosphere was nice and the staff werereally great and helpful which saved this review from getting 3 stars.

Employees are helpful and courteous. All of the food is delicious and the meat is so tender. ????I love the type of plates the food is packaged in because it?s durable.I got a free sample of the ice cream that is dairy and gluten free. Kinda reminds me of sorbet. Drinks are ok and nothing different than any other drink I?ve had before.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant! It was my first visit, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, the pineapple dole whip was delightful, and the service was impeccable. Kiki, who took our order, was incredibly patient and kind, helping us navigate the menu. I'm definitely adding this to my list of favorite food spots!

They serve Dole pineapple soft serve, and it's delicious! I ordered the Huli Huli chicken mixed plate along with the luau pig. Originally, it came with macaroni salad, but I opted for double rice instead. Since the meat was already placed on rice, I ended up with quite a bit of rice on my plate. I highly recommend getting a mixed plate so you can sample multiple types of meat. The luau pig was my favorite, and the pineapple barbecue sauce was a fantastic complement to it!

Excellent service! The food was tasty and the place was clean! From the moment we walked in, we felt like valued guests. I ordered the Large Plate, substituting the veggies and adding pineapple. We also got a side of warm rice, a cold macaroni salad, and the spam musubi, which was also served warm. I would definitely come back and can't wait to try the Dole Desserts! (As a mom with a baby, I noticed there wasn't a changing table in the bathroom, which would be a helpful addition.)
