Contribuiți la feedbackI never leave without an empty plate. Food is always cooked the way I ordered and I am also chatting about good wine and sake with Chris at the bar. Great job Chris! And btw the plate was hibachi steak and salmon
The food was amazing as always. I had the spider roll to start, and ordered the chicken hibachi for my entree. The doors was great as always. The waitress did a great job making sure we always had everything. They were a little busy so we had to wait a while for our actual hibachi but it was worth the wait. Our cook was awesome and made up for the wait.
The waitress/bar tender Courtnie was great. Very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Moscato was good. Sake tasted like green apple. Very subtle.
Upon arrival, you'll be asked whether you want to sit in the main dining room or the Hibachi area. The main dining room has a seperate menu from the hibachi with varying asian dishes. The hibachi section is where the main attraction and charm of this place lays. We normally choose Hibachi. You sit down in front of the grill and wait for the chef to finish with the group he's with. In the meantime, they take your drink order and ask if you want a soup or salad with your meal. (If lunchtime). If dinnertime, you get both. There are also appetizers and sushi available and I've included a picture of the full hibachi menu as of June 2019 with this review. The wait is never very long if you come earlier than 5:30. We had a 10-minute at the most wait around 4 o' clock. The chef will be with you shortly after you place your hibachi order. Everything comes with a heaping portion of fried rice, very delicious if I say so myself. There's egg cooked into the rice, and a nice vegetable medley to go with it. The show is always really entertaining and the chefs like cracking jokes. I'll leave that to you to experience, but I have included some videos of a few portions of the show. The price is cheaper for lunch, so come during lunch on a weekday if you're pinching pennies but it's worth a stop if you can afford it, or if you're celebrating a special occasion. The food is always very flavorful and has never disappointed me, nor has the service or the friendly atmosphere.
Delicious and good quality food! The foreign exchange student from Japan that we hosted said the salmon nigiri was as good as nigiri in Japan! We really like The Bomb sushi roll, which they are always happy to change the crawfish out for salmon. If you're not sure about the sake, try the Hana white peach if you like something sweet! We bought an extra bottle to take home because it was so good! And my husband swears by the Sapporo Silver. One less star because the place is a tiny bit run down at this point and the hibachi chefs are inappropriate (not exactly family friendly). I know they're moving locations soon, so I'll happily update my review once that happens.
