Daves Hot Chicken - Waco

It was first time ever trying Dave’s. I always saw videos of it on social media and it really interested me but what was upsetting was that there’s no Dave’s in my main city, so my parents and I were just passing through here and I decided to go here to get some of the chicken tenders. They were juicy and overall delicious, but the only problem was that the spice level I chose, Hot, just wasn’t for me. It was good but I don’t think that I could handle the spice well just yet. I do recommend it though!!

Staff were very friendly and professional. I always get the mild tenders…..dead on every time!

The whole place is amazing! From the outside in. They were very nice and quick. Great place!

Visited this place twice, about a week in between visits. They are unreasonably slow, taking up to 20-30 minutes just to get an order from the drive thru. Food was okay the first time, certainly not worth the wait (which was longer or up-charge (why was it more expensive that week? , but to their credit, the second was probably the best I've ever had at a Dave's. Between that and how generally nice the staff has been, I think the issue here is more they're understaffed. You'll likely enjoy the food, just consider going in or camping out in your car for a while.
