Yellow Submarine - Wabamun

My family has been living and going to Wabamun for generations. This restaurant is such a great place overall. It's a mainstay, the quality of food is excellent, the staff are always polite, and the ice cream servings are wild. I love this place and hope it's always there. We always stop there when we are in town.

Ordered by phone and my order was repeated to me correctly. I was told it would be ready in half an hour upon arrival only half the order was ready so while that portion was getting ice cold I waited 15 min for part of the rest of my order. Only got half of that as well ordered poutine never received and when I questioned her she advised I didn’t pay for it anyway. Burger was half cooked inedible sawdust burger. I will never return to this exoensive poorly run facility again. Run by children

Been several years since my last visit and not sure why. Always liked the food and now have been back 3 times in the last week or so glad I returned. Good food, fair prices, and friendly staff.

We have a summer place in Wab, so go here a couple times per summer. ice cream is always a nice treat on a hot day. subs are decent, nicely loaded up (though quality of meats is typical cheaper lunch meats) and prices are a bit higher than you might expect pizza is good, and havent heard any complaints service can be very sssllllooooowwwww sometimes. easy to recommend for a local bite/takeout. picnic tables outside for eating if need be.
