Restaurant La Galerie - Vulaines

We were driving through the area when the pangs of hunger hit us, and just at that moment, we found this restaurant. We were a little unsure at first, because there were several Fire service vehicles parked there. However, there was no crisis: just a celebration meal for about fifteen fire men and women. Happily, there was room for us and the ambiance was warm and friendly. Despite the large party, the service was first class and the food excellent. Every thing is freshly prepared and cooked. The little dining room was decorated with portraits of jazz singers and film stars, and with metal art works cut out animals which are for sale and which would look good in the garden. It is certainly an unusual place. I don't expect to pass along this road again, but I hope other travellers find it as we did and enjoy it as we did

The service was really friendly from the start until we got the bill. We ate here for lunch and we all had a great meal. I would recommend a salad because it is a light but delicious snack. This restaurants really deserves credit.

We happened to just be driving through the town at lunchtime and saw this restaurant and decided to stop. What a great find! The ambiance is very bright, fun, modern and creative. It is a great concept to have an art gallery and restaurant combined. They only opened last year and it turns out that they also own another business. They make wonderful metal decorations for the home and garden and these are all displayed all over the restaurant, in the two large rooms, and are for sale. The little rabbit decoration (in the photo) at our table came home with us as did a few other small pieces. Very appropriate as we visited on Easter weekend. The service here was very friendly and efficient. The food is really fresh, home-made with local products, tasty and nicely presented. It is really great value. Honestly, what is not to love here? Will definitely be back if ever in the area again.

A very nice restaurant on the holiday road or we eat very well and especially put everything in place to satisfy you at best, the service is on top and the staff very well.
