Mount Masala - Voorhees Township

Philadelphia magazine named Mount Masala one of the top three restaurants in New Jersey for 2017, so we decided to check it out. Having never experienced Himalayan cuisine before, we were eager to try it. The food and service exceeded our expectations—they were truly fantastic. Mount Masala has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots in South Jersey.

I had my first visit to this restaurant, and I was truly impressed! The service was quick, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was outstanding. The shrimp snowball appetizer was delightful. I ordered the vegetarian Mount Masala roasted rice, which was unique and incredibly tasty! The chicken with garlic sauce was fantastic as well. Having never tried Himalayan cuisine before, I found it to be even more enjoyable than most Indian food I've had. Plus, they surprised me with a complimentary dish, which was wonderful! I'm so glad they're within walking distance; I can't wait to go back soon!

The food is absolutely delicious, with flavors unlike anything I've ever experienced before. The owner is wonderful and truly enhances the dining experience. You definitely have to give it a try!

Awesome food and service! Chicken lollipops were fabulous as was the goat Himalayan curry. Spice level can be adjusted to your tase

I love this place. I'm so glad I live up the street. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The food is like nothing I can get anywhere else.
