La musique est trop forte et il est difficile de pouvoir se parler. Néanmoins, nous avons très bien mangé, le fish and chips est absolument délicieux. Malgré ces petits désagréments, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
We ate two nights in a row at this restaurant. Both nights the food was fantastic, tasty, fresh and served well. The burgers are delicious and other party members commented on how good the fish and chips were. The service is good and you have a choice of eating outdoors or inside. Would highly recommend.
About a mile south of Vivonne on the N10 easy access in both directions and convenient for the St George in the city if you have no motorhome. The change can be the old Auberge in Mennerval N of Bernay - in this case use the Hotel Accropole.
One of several routier restaurants on the N10 best remains the Poitiers in my opinion. Easy access, beautiful and bright, with competent buffet and standard main course. Good value for money as usual.
If we travel to the south-west of France, we always take the RN10 i.s.o. the A10, because this is a simple road without toll payment and you do not lose much time compared to the A10 (if at all). We made a stop in Vivonne on one of our excursions and were looking for a restaurant. We saw the Routier restaurant and decided to try to know that a member of my family was a trucker and I always remember that he said that you offered a decent meal at a low price in Les Routier's restaurants. We can't agree with him anymore. You pay at the bar upstairs and then go to the restaurant were all looking good. There is a wide selection of cold starters (there are even oysters) and the selection of the main courses is written on a table. A selection of cheese and a selection of desserts is also included (so is the wine and the water). After our return home we decided to stop here again for lunch and we were not disappointed (although the apple cake was something on the minus side). The place is confronted by truckers as well as by locals and travelers like us. The place is even open on Saturday and Sunday, which you do not often find in Les Routier's restaurants. We will certainly see to stop here again if this fits in our itinerary.
