La Place - Vitré

The interior is like a maze, and adds to the labyrinth vibe.

The international students, please beware of this place! First of all, their International Student’s Festival is a scam! Nothing festival about it, it was just a means to scam new international students by tagging it “International Students Festival “. Secondly, On getting to order some beer, I saw a half filled cup of beer in front of the barman, I spent over 8 minutes for my turn, I was surprised to see the guy trying to completely fill this cup for me to buy. I declined because it’s been outside for long before I requested for the same type of beer. He was trying to convince me to take the beer I had no clue how long it’s been there! ....I didn’t accept it and because of that he refused attending to me and was very rude. I had to leave that night. Please beware! especially when your French level is low.

In a word, eat! This is the place to be! A place where humor closes respect. In a rustic setting. For the hardest of you, if the ground floor is not enough, I invite you to take the stairs. At its Zenith is a new world. More space will be available for you. In any case, one thing is certain, you will feel at home!

I recommend La Place as a dance bar, good atmosphere and good music. However, I take off a star because I asked for an alcohol-free cocktail at the waitress, it tasted like a CapriSun. CEPENDAAANT!!! I add a star because the servers were fun and it was amazing. I have no objection, I know.

My friends and I came for the first time last Saturday, and we loved it. The staff is super nice, the bartender and the bouncers are adorable! Indeed the glasses are expensive but it is a night bar so you have to wait there. Little flat we haven't seen a dance floor... but otherwise, the atmosphere is too cool!
