El Mentiron - Vitoria-Gasteiz

They charged me 4 pintxos, but I ate only three. In general the pintxos were sufficient. The don't speak English: ok, we are in Gasteiz, the capital city of Basque country. But a simple tourist could not speak Spanish very well, even the dialect too!

We had dinner yesterday in this bar and were very happy with the tapes and the service. Although the girls serving there were not speaking well English they were doing their best to help and were very friendly. We have ordered some 6-7 different tapas and some drinks, watched the World Cup game and enjoyed the food. Would recommend the place- is on very touristic spot, but food was not bad at all.

Before leaving Vitoria after a short visit, we sat down at El Mentiron for a coffee and cake. Their cheese cake was tasty, some other snacks looked good (although we did not try). Nice service. Right at the main square so quite popular with locals.

Mi lugar favorito para disfrutar en las terrazas vitoria. la plaza virgen blanca es uno de los mejores lugares de la ciudad. es el punto de encuentro de la ciudad. cuando hace buen tiempo se puede disfrutar en las terrazas viendo el memorial de la batalla de vitoria, episodio de la guerra de la independencia. es uno de mis lugares favoritos. hay todo: heladerías, tiendas, bares y restaurantes. Cuando hace un buen rato, la gente se reúne allí y disfruta de la ciudad y todo lo que pueden ofrecer.

Hermosa plaza muy adornada para vacaciones de Navidad y año nuevo, como toda la zona alrededor de ella. muy hermoso paseo! En bares y restaurantes hay que presentar el pase de vacunación para entrar.
