Tecate - Vista Hermosa

Stayed in the hotel close by in June 2015. This was our go-to place. Their micheladas are amazing. Tortas, tacos, and quesadillas are all superb. Staff was very sweet and friendly. I hope to go to D.F. and eat at this place again!

Walking by El Charlatan's open doors one night we were intrigued by their vintage look. We knew we had to try it when our local tour guide recommended it with out being prompted. The people here are extremely nice. We inquired as to which Tortas were the most popular and rather than describing them to use our server had the cook whip up a little sample of each meat! The tortas here are a little undersized but at just $35 pesos with a side of chicharron it's still a great value even if you might need 1 and a half to get full. They also offer Micheladas and Chabelas (sp). The former was spicy and well balanced and the later was a very interesting combination of a creme soda like drink and tecate. If you are looking for a quick meal and an amazing price stop in here and explore the menu!
