Nucci's Italian Cafe Pizza - Vista

It can be difficult to find a truly authentic Italian restaurant. Many places have a mixture of non-Italian dishes and lack in flavor. One way I judge a good Italian restaurant is by how well they prepare Veal Marsala. Most places are just average, but when you come across a great one it is always worth going back. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. A fantastic local find.

The food at this restaurant is tasty, but unfortunately, my wife and I have had negative experiences with an older man who works behind the counter. He has been very rude to us, making my wife feel uncomfortable to the point where she no longer wants to order from there. He has also been rude and hung up on me on the phone multiple times. Today was no different. The delicious food is not worth the chance of encountering his bad attitude.

This restaurant served the worst food I have ever had. I had to spit it out immediately after putting it in my mouth because they did not disclose that there was fish in the pasta sauce. I ordered a Penne Amatriciana, which is not typically made with fish, but it tasted like anchovies. The garlic knots were so stale that we couldn't even chew them. We ended up throwing out everything except the complimentary bread and soup. We ordered takeout, and the staff at the counter were not friendly. I have been to many Italian restaurants and have never had a problem ordering pasta without cheese, but this place made me feel judged for it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine in a casual setting. The dishes are flavorful and we particularly enjoy the pizza, which is among the best around. The prices are reasonable and the service is efficient. It has become one of our go-to spots for dining locally. Highly recommended!
