Taj Indian Cuisine - Viseu de Jos

While I usually enjoy spicy food, I couldn't enjoy this one. Way too spicy even though I asked for it to be toned down a bit. The chicken had a weird texture, they must use frozen meat. Oh, there was also a cockroach running all over the place but especially on the napkins, salt and pepper. I immediately stopped eating and left. Had stomach problems today. Will not come back.

We've tried here for our first time the genuine Indian cuisine experience. Very tasty and spicyyyy : ! We will surely come back again and try other dishes from their menu. Very friendly and polite staff. One thing is sure, their prices are also very spicy, maybe too spicy, if you think about total price paid for a meal, where you usually combine a risotto some meat, their sum becomes pretty expensive.

Finally a place that is not afraid of making the food spicy if you ask. Everything had great flavour, good service, and ok atmosphere. For me tho I don't care where I eat, it's all about the food and the food here was fantastic.

Recommended by friends, Taj seems underwhelming at first until you get to eat. The food is, well, spicy, but good, flavored and delicious. The personnel is nice and helpful, the service is quick (but save some patience as the dishes take around 45 to 60 minutes to arrive) and the overall experience is nice. Price wise, Taj is a little above the average careful as they accept only cash now. Overall, a good experience worthy of your time.
