Isola Bella (visby Innerstad)

My friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner. They only had one vegetarian pasta option, but it was incredibly delicious. The ambiance felt like a cozy tavern in northern Italy, with a charming rustic vibe that didn't feel any less upscale. The staff were friendly and attentive.

For many years, we have frequented Isola Bella, both its original location in Snäck by the sea and now also in Gnisvard. The food is consistently delightful, and the staff, including the ever-present owner, are welcoming and composed even during peak times. The centrally located Visby restaurant exudes charm, with exposed ancient brick walls and an open kitchen that adds to the overall ambiance. Additionally, outdoor dining is available during the summertime.

The alley leading up to the restaurant is a nice feature. We had a nice table in the back of the restaurant. The staff was nice. I had a pizza and my company had a pasta. The pizza was nice, but not extra ordinary. In total it was a bit expensive.

A really touristy place. Stressed staff, a lot of people. Very, very expensive and not tjat good food. Its a touristrap, and Visby are filled w nice resturants so avoid this one if u can!!

Good was good but took a little time to get due to many people in the restaurant. Nice service from the staff. Not all speak Swedish though.
