Shanghai Chinese - Visalia

I had dinner at the restaurant on Friday around 7:30 PM. The dining room was busy, but it seemed to be calming down at that point. Our server was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. I anticipated that most Chinese dishes tend to be greasy, which was the case here. The rice and chow mein were tasty, and the orange chicken was pleasantly crispy with a delicious sauce. However, some of the fried items were quite oily. The decor is appealing, but the place could use a good dusting, as there were some cobwebs and dust on various surfaces. There is one unisex restroom. I also noticed a customer blowing their nose during my visit.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Visalia. We always enjoy our meals and the service. They definitely have the best Chicken Salad, and everything else on the menu is amazing as well.

The restaurant may be small, but the service is excellent. The extensive menu can feel overwhelming for newcomers, but the food tastes fantastic and is reasonably priced. The Mongolian Beef was tender and spicy—absolutely perfect!

Food had too much salt, it was expensive, they give you a little bit of food. Not a good place to eat

The food here seems to be a hit and miss. We order the same thing all the time so it?s not the ?try something new? problem it?s the cooks. The house rice is really good about 1 out of 3 times we order, the rest of the time it tastes like nothing with hardly any meat at all in it. They still have not opened so it?s a take out all the time. Picking a new restaurant now. Sad. Oh plus, super
