Good food hard to find but well worth it. Had there ultimate biscuit breakfast with bacon will be back.

Food was decent as always but it was weird they took our name to call when a table was ready and the guy came outside read two names and said he was tired of reading from the list so he started asking people who just sat down if they wanted to go in so like 4 families got in that arrived later than us before we got to which isn’t a crazy big deal was just kind of weird. Fantastic country classic breakfast.... overfilling so come hungry and plan to not eat again for the rest of the day or share. Everyone at the table get something different and share. One child usually gets the stuffed french toast the other the waffle or country fried steak, flaver is alWays perfect.

As a self-proclaimed connoisseur of breakfast, I can’t recommend this amazing restaurant enough! When the locals are lining up at the door, you know you’ve found a gem of a place. From the second we walked in we were greeted by Tom and told a table was being cleaned right away for us. Before we could settle in to wait, it was ready and from that moment on we were treated to a delightful experience. Come to find out, Tom, who seated us and brought our drinks, is Mama Kay’s dad. You could sense a fast paced, happy urgency in every person working there, ensuring the customers’ needs were met immediately.The menu was extensive and we finally settled on chicken fried steak, eggs, cheesy hash brown casserole, toast, pancakes, and bacon. Being from Texas, we know good chicken fried steak. We expected a decent cut but wow, were we shocked! Best we’ve ever had! They even understood our bacon preference! A couple times I needed more syrup or jelly and Mason was right on it in record time, with such a beautiful smile and happy heart.Do yourself a favor and come to this fun family restaurant. If I lived here I’d be here every week!

Fantastic homemade corn beef and hash! And Mama K knows potatoes. The cheesy potatoes were delicious. All the staff were friendly and it seemed like they were a tight cohesive team. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic. My son was enamored with the cows. Must try.Kid-friendliness: Well my son enjoyed the strawberries and whip cream on his pancake but he also enjoyed watching the cows.Parking: It's a dirt lot because where Mama Ks is located behind a cow auction place.
