When In Rome Bistro - Virginia Beach

I ordered the special lobster ravioli, and it was absolutely incredible! I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve ever had. The flavor was fantastic, with a delightful hint of lemon in the lobster filling that made it truly amazing.

Went to listen to Steve Ambrose and have dinner. Food was incredible. From the wine the entree to the terrimesou to the espresso. Plus Steve sound awesome. I really recommend When in Rome. ESP if Steve’s playing.

Amazing Italian restaurant! The quality in food and service is outstanding! The food is always made fresh, and they have vast knowledge in wine as well. Very friendly and clean environment, would recommend to anyone.

This place was UNBELIEVABLY EXCELLENT!!!! My family and I are visiting VA Beach from Boston when we stumbled upon this hidden jewel! The service was the best we have ever seen and we go out to eat a lot. We came in late last night and the place was empty so we expected a mediocre reception due to our arrival close to closing. WOW were we wrong! Our server, Gwendolyn, treated us as if we were family walking through the door! She gave us our choice of tables anywhere and immediately began making wonderful suggestions for entrees, wine and apps. The Food! Mother of Chuck Norris was this pasta transcendent!!! I come from an Italian family so my husband and I never have to go out for Italian because my family cooks traditional at home. We could not ignore the generous portions of Lobster Ravioli, Prosciutto and Toast Points, Marinara sauce that made me cry it was so good.....not to mention the three or four other things our server brought out as compliments of the chef (who is Italian along with the whole family). Do yourself a favor if you find yourself near VA Beach and indulge at this fine family establishment. My family and I are already going back again tonight!

Best in Virginia Beach. Superior service, chef owner staff are passionate about their food. Delicious!!!
