Venuto - Virginia Beach

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant. It’s a charming little Italian eatery that isn’t part of a chain. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet my expectations, and the service was quite slow. The menu had a lot of potential, but the execution fell short. On the plus side, I found the prices to be reasonable. Overall, I’d rate the food a 2 out of 5.

I returned a clearly overcooked Filet Mignon, which was burnt on one side and didn’t meet my request for medium-rare. The chef insisted that I was mistaken and sent it back to me. I suppose there's a first time for everything. Food rating: 1/5.

The food was excellent, and the service was fantastic. We visited at 8 PM on a Thursday, so it wasn't busy at all. Food rating: 5/5.

The food was good. However, the service and wine selections were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, dark, dim lighting.Food: 3/5
