Taqueria La Patrona - Virginia Beach

I love how fresh the vegetables were in all meals. I ordered mushroom tacos and was not disappointed. #Veganuary

This is my omni husband and I's favorite Mexican spot in the area. They have a separate vegan menu with about a half dozen options, but you have to request it from the server. It's the only spot around here with vegan elote and esquite. Gets pretty busy on the weekends (nowhere to park, always a wait for a table), but the food comes out pretty quick and is well worth it.

Have eaten here multiple times and everything off of the vegan menu is delicious!

We have been multiple times since our recent discovery of this place. Homemade corn tortillas with “shroom tacos” are my go to.

My favorite is the Crispy Burrito from the vegan menu followed by with the vegan sopapilla.
