Tapped Gastropub - Virginia Beach

The food was delicious and the portions were quite generous. We had the best meal we've had in years, complemented by friendly and attentive service. We will definitely spread the word!

My sister and I visited Tapped for lunch, and we were thoroughly pleased with our experience. Unfortunately, I didn't catch our waiter's name, but he was fantastic—super friendly and had a great sense of humor. The food was outstanding. We ordered four appetizers: Tatchos, roasted mac and cheese balls, roasted Gouda, and pretzel bites, and each one was amazing. The Tatchos had the perfect amount of crispiness, and the beer cheese on top was incredibly tasty. The fried Gouda was delightful and paired wonderfully with a delicious marinara sauce. The pretzel bites and mac and cheese balls were also fantastic. Don't miss the tappletini—it's one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. I will definitely be returning!

During my first visit, I used a Groupon for our meal. I ordered the Quesadilla Burger and the Mac and Cheese Burger, along with some roasted Mac and Cheese, a side of homemade potato chips, and sweet potatoes. On Tuesdays, they have a great drink special: $3.50 for 10 ounces of beer, all day long. The bartender, Alyssa, was excellent—she managed everything on her own and was very friendly and accommodating. Some may not agree, but I actually appreciated that there’s a designated smoking area on the covered veranda, especially while trying out different beers. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would definitely come back.

Lunch. I had the ground Bisonburger and she tried the cook salad with steak and Blu cheese. It was amazing. Both meats where cooked medium rarely. The taste was amazing. You also have a great selection of beers. I'd say a little expensive, but it's worth it.

Even better than usual. Late lunch with my wife and as we often do, we had three items to share. All were new this trio. Fried gouda, nachos and shrimp tacos. Each was excellently prepared and tremendously enjoyable.
