Shoreline Grill - Virginia Beach

My husband and I ordered coffee and I ordered the shoreline burger , no cheese. Burger was supposed to be medium well, it was so dry and tasted really charred like eating charcoal. The lettuce was put on the plate wet which made my bun and fries soggy. It was eatable because I was hungry. The reason for the 1 star is mainly because I felt ripped off. The server asked if we wanted a refill on the coffee. Mind you the mugs are really small like tea cups. It would have been nice if the server let us know that refills are not free. Imagine my surprise to get the check and the charge was 9 bucks for bean water. He charged us for 4 cups of coffee. When I asked him about it he just shrugged and said not his rules and then walked off. True but he should have given us a heads up. Not worth the money eating here. There are so many other places. Shoot Wendy and MCD 's is within walking distance and their burgers even taste better than this place.

Shoreline Grill was a fun and enjoyable cafe. Thanks to LeeAnna for making it worth the visit. This place will be sorely missed.

Outstanding. The fish and chips are amazing. The service is quick. Didn't have to wait long to eat. The atmosphere is very nice. Very friendly staff. Little pricey but we'll worth it.

Came and stopped by here looking for a late lunch with my best friend. We wanted to sit outside because the weather was perfect. We sat at the outer dining area and it was a perfect view of the beach! They have happy hour drink and food specials on Saturdays, which I took advantage of! I ordered a fruity alcoholic drink which was good. For food, we shared the friend pickles and banana peppers. That tasted great and I would totally order again. I ordered the shrimp (by itself) and She Crab soup. The shrimp was good and the soup was tasty but not as thick as it should be. Our waitress was an older lady, she was super nice and sweet. Overall, next time I visit VA beach and I'm near here, I would come again for the views and food!

Amazing juicy big bacon burgers with nice fresh fries, great cut of ny strip with naked potato on special, great frickles, great hot sauce dipped chicken tenders, and I had just decent seafood Alfredo cheese tortalni (sp? That they forgot the chives on so I put hot sauce on it. I had a yummy dreamscicle cocktail and my sister in law has a yummy bikini martini I tried that was great. If you stay at the awesome best Western plus and ask the front desk for it there is a 10% off coupon that excludes specials and alcohol. The only things keeping it from being a 5 star were the slow flighty waitress and bartender that also cashed people out but took 25 mins to cash us out, no chives or check up on quality of meal. It was raining so they got busy but they didn't work or move any faster despite the surge in customers .
