Shogun Japanese Steak House And Sushi

I absolutely love Shogun and have been a loyal customer for 15 years! I visit several times a year, and there's truly no better place to celebrate a birthday. Ray, the owner, is amazing and always ensures you have a great experience. Autumn is also an exceptional server! This is my favorite restaurant, and I highly recommend Shogun as the best hibachi spot in Virginia Beach!

I know this sounds dramatic but this was seriously the worst customer service I?ve ever experienced. Zero stars. I came in to grab dinner to go earlier this evening. I order a hibachi meal and a really simple sushi roll. I tell the hostess I only want shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and salmon only. I reiterate this as I place the order saying I know it?s very plain, and she says okay that?s fine. She tells me it will be an hour wait, so I leave come back to pick up my order.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, and it was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious. The chef was very professional and attentive, and the entire staff was outstanding. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly nice and took the time to ask about our meal, making us feel truly appreciated. Everyone here is genuine, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely say it's the best hibachi in the seven cities, and I would recommend it time and time again!

Went out for a birthday dinner. Server was very nice food was good. Our cook and a great sense of humor as well. Great place to visit.
