Maple Tree Pancake House

Wife, child and I thought here was a late brunch, and did not have too many expectations due to the Google score, but we were pleasantly surprised. Service is great, very friendly staff including owner and waitress. I ordered the strawberry Belgium waffle and it was definitely one of the best waffles I've ever had no joke. Very fluffy and soft, but perfectly crispy on the outside. The strawberry glaze is made with fresh strawberries, so it is not excessively sweet. The whipped cream is homemade and tastes fantastic. Overall, I recommend the waffle. My wife had a veggie omelet with one side of pancake, and everything was very good. The pancakes were very fluffy and soft, but simply so tasteful. Stay here when we're in the area.

The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my food arrived quickly. Not only was it served promptly, but it was also delicious. I sampled the French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and waffles, and they were all excellent.

This place was great. Definitely the best place on Atlantic Avenue for breakfast. The manager is on the point and almost like a thought reader. He obviously knows that the restaurant industry and customer service 4 need such a place. You have a great waiting staff and the food is really good. If such a place is really good, you can naturally expect that the place is busy, but definitely worth waiting and it will not be so long!

I enjoyed my food a lot, but it was extremely busy and waiter was unattentive. Prices were fairly well $7-13 for a person, depending on what you got.

The food was decent but not exceptional considering the prices, even if it is a tourist destination. However, we both enjoyed our meals and felt satisfied before leaving. The service was friendly, which was a plus. I would suggest updating the decor and refurbishing some of the worn chairs and tables, as they clearly show signs of age. The DIY straw hut aesthetic felt a bit off to me. A simple logo featuring a maple leaf or even a maple tree would really enhance the restaurant's interior and provide a much-needed refresh, instead of the cheesy and somewhat childish bear-themed wall art that’s currently in place.
