I found this place by chance, while hungry and going into Harris Teeter for some fried chicken. They were all sold out, but just outside there was a heavenly smell coming from this place called Forbidden Palace. So I went over to check it out. First,I have to say that what I ate there is sincerely the best NY Style Chinese food I?ve ever had in my life. Atmosphere is sereneand everything in the restaurant is very clean. Great place for a romantic date, taking your whole family, or even solo diningin comfort and peace. They also have traditional (authentic) Chinese food, if that?s what you?re after. This is the true ?No.1 Chinese Food? restaurant in taste, quality, and style. I?ve been back twice already since my first visit, and it?s easy tosay that I will be a regular here from now on.

Good food. Reasonable prices. They have a lunch menu also. Service was pretty good but I was at a table of six people and they brought people's food out at different times. Most restaurants will try to bring everyone's food out at about the same time. Iwas stuck sitting there twiddling my thumbs while all my table mates were eating. Not cool.
