El Pico De Oro Peruvian Chicken/ Pollo A La Brasa

I discovered this restaurant while searching for a lunch spot away from the office. I ordered their lunch special, which included a quarter chicken, two sides, and a drink for just $7.00. I was extremely impressed by both the portion size and the taste of the meal. The chicken was juicy and had a nice kick to it, the fried rice was packed with flavor and tasted fresh, and the fried plantains were tender yet firm. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

This is the best pollo a la brasa I’ve had in Virginia. The sides were incredible too, and the prices are very reasonable. The family that runs this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a chef specializing in Peruvian cuisine, I highly recommend it!

After reading a review in the VA Pilot, my husband wanted to try this place for his birthday. The chicken was delicious, and the plantains as a side dish were superb. We opted for the family special, which was very reasonably priced, and we even had leftovers to take home. It was truly a delightful Peruvian experience!

DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I got takeout from here on their opening day. The food was fabulous. Their whole chicken is infused with flavor and is unbelievably moist throughout. The potato stuffed with ground beef, onions, and an egg was AMAZING and unlike anything I’ve ever had before! Will definitely be back again soon.
