Classic Diner - Virginia Beach

My daughter and I love this place! We’ve never had a bad experience with the food or staff! It’s refreshing to get away from the chain restaurants. It’s also nice being able to watch them make your food if you sit at the counter. The only problem we’ve ever had was the first time. My daughter (10) ordered an omelet and I (43) ordered French Toast. We were at the counter so the cook gave us our plates and he got them justifiably backwards! We still laugh about it every time we go.

Classic Dinner is a little hole in the wall type local place to eat.The Western omelet I had with home fries and a biscuit were really good! The service was pretty fast and our waitress was friendly. It was a fifties diner, older place, not very big. After we ate our waitress asked us nicely to leave because people were waiting on a table. If you're going to talk a while and catch up, maybe go somewhere else. They did have good food, fair prices and friendly service though!
