Chipotle Mexican Grill - Virginia Beach

Avoid mobile ordering at this location! They are constantly understaffed, which I can't entirely blame them for given the low pay and increasing demands. Who would want to work at such a corporate burrito chain? Unfortunately, this place clearly struggles; the staff seem overwhelmed throughout most of the day. The drive-thru line wraps around the building and spills out onto Kemps River Drive. Typical issues for a Virginia Beach eatery: poor service, long wait times, and cold food by the time you get home. If you can, consider going to a different location.

When you order one taco but end up with two, it's frustrating to find that they simply added an extra tortilla instead of making a proper duplicate. This is really disappointing, Chipotle.

This Chipotle is incredibly frustrating. They consistently get our orders wrong and the staff are often rude. When you order for pickup, you might find that they've closed the inside early, forcing you to wait in the drive-thru line. We waited thirty minutes for our food, and by the time we received it, it was cold. Corporate really needs to address the issues at this location. It's embarrassing, and I don’t understand why they would open it without the intention of managing it properly. They need to stop hiring people who don’t care about their jobs and stop letting them tarnish the company's reputation due to inadequate training. We always take a break for a few months and then try again, hoping to see some improvement, but nothing ever changes. It might be best to shut this location down altogether. In our most recent order, we waited thirty minutes and didn’t even receive our chips. Now we’re seeking a refund, and they tried to offer us a free bowl and chips as an incentive to return, but it’s hard to justify coming back here. We’re seriously considering avoiding Chipotle altogether.

I have ordered pickup from here a few times. It?s usually average, but this most recent time was the worst drivethru experience I?ve had. Two cars in front of me took 10 minutes each to get their order, and the car directly in front of me was at the window for 20 minutes. I finally decided to just go in and get mine, but couldn?t get anyones attention for 2 minutes. Finally got my food and it was cold of course. I love chipotle but I?ll be avoiding this one for a while.

I ordered online for pickup and my order was waiting for me at 12:20 PM. The food was fresh and everything the way I ordered. I ordered the burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side and a side of chips with guac. Delicious and good portion size.
