Baby Izakaya - Virginia Beach

This is a local spot! Great hang out eatery with the whole family. This is a little Izakaya style with great food and Japanese beer.

Just like what its name says, this place is not for stuffing your stomach. You come here to have a drink and enjoy some small dishes like appetizers. If you are a bit hungry, then the ramen and bento will serve for the purpose. There are not many choices since it's Baby Izakaya. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was right for a izakaya...... Don't forget to have a plate of Edamame to start your leisure time! Service was good....

I absolutely loved it! The fusion of flavors was incredibly exciting, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas were spotless. The customer service was outstanding as well! This was my first time trying sashimi, and it did not disappoint! I went with some friends, and we sampled fried oysters, cheese nuggets, tiramisu, and a few other dishes—all of which were delicious! I can't wait to return!

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had at the beach. The entrance gave the impression of strolling through a Japanese alley, leading into a beautiful outdoor patio that felt like a garden. We chose two seats inside where we had a perfect view of the chefs showcasing their skills. The food was absolutely delicious; every bite melted in our mouths and exceeded our expectations. Greg, our server, was incredibly attentive and a fantastic conversationalist, which truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this place—10/10!

I wish I could have tried the indoor seating, but I completely understand the precautions due to COVID. Other than that, the service was excellent! Our server made sure to check on us frequently, and since it was our first visit, we received complimentary appetizers! Everything was delicious, and the outdoor seating area is lovely. I’ll definitely be returning to sample more of their menu!
