Pizzeria Yi Ji - VIPITENO

I was in Vipiteno for a couple of weeks due to a music festival, and this was one of the places that accepted our meal tickets. It's about as messy as it sounds, but if you want Chinese or Japanese food, this is your only option in Vipiteno. Their chicken is kind of gamey and my friend had the sushi, which she rated less than favorably. The waitresses and waiters don't seem to speak a whole lot of Italian (and less German, so go with the former language if you'd like to communicate semi-effectively), so it was difficult to explain my friend's gluten allergy to them. For giggles, I had their four cheese pizza, though, and it really wasn't bad. This place is one of the few later night options though (open at least until 23:00), and if you're not really looking for anything terribly special, it's definitely great for convenience and probably satisfying to whatever you may be craving at that hour.

We were there on Christmas Eve and lucky we found this place opened as everything was closed. Normally we did not go to a Chinese restaurant in Sterzing Vipetino in Italy but we found it surprisingly good Chinese food there. We ordered crispy duck on vegetables, chicken in nut sauce, rice vermicelli with vegetables and pork kongpo. Crispy duck and chicken in nut sauce were perfect. They also have proper chilly oil and other sauces like China town restaurant. Staff were very friendly but they have language barriers. You have to point out exactly number from the menu. We did not try Japanese sushi since we don’t like raw fish. We did not try pizza but saw proper oven. Not microwave. Moreover they open till late 11:30 pm which is rare in vipetino.
