Contribuiți la feedbackThis cafe looked very inviting with a lovely outside seating area as well as a lot of seating inside. The only issue was that it was right outside the entrance to the Castello dei Conti Guidi which is part of the Leonardo Museum and therefore a magnet for tourists which could mean associated inflated pricing. As we were both weary we decided to give it a try anyway and just ordered coffees at the bar inside. To my surprise the cost was fine, not greatly over inflated as I had initially feared, and when the coffees were delivered to our table outside by the very friendly waitress they were accompanied with four small pieces of fruit tart with fresh cream on top. Very nice touch. The coffee was also good.
A great and pleasant place where they remember you even after a few months and you won't forget either ; nice staff. Kind to children. Great coffee and food as a snack.. excellent pecorino and prsciuto. If we come back to Vinci, we will be happy to come back to you too..beautiful atmosphere right below the museum where there is the most beautiful view of Vinci from the tower. Grazie Ciao
Perfect spot for lunch and drink. We visited Vinci and its musea. Really needed a quick and good lunch. This place serves very good portions and very tasty food. Perfect place with nice staff and good food
Visited Vinci twice this year with different family members and had lunch both times in this excellent Caffè. The food was excellent served by extremely friendly and and helpful staff. I would recommend this cafe to anyone visiting this wonderful Tuscan village. I don 't know who was responsible for the English lesson originally but 'cheers mate ' seems an appropriate comment to make regarding our two visits. Highly recommended.
We have been coming to Tuscany for 27 years with our family including our son who is autistic and has a Learning disability. He wanted to sit inside as we had last year. The staff refused because they were only using the outside. When he simply sat down inside they became very agitated and told us to move. I explained the situation (in Italian) but the waitress said it was too hot for her to manage in and outside despite the table inside being next to the kitchen. I offered to take the drink to him but again she refused. Our son was very upset, made worse by him getting lost on the way to the toilet upstairs. The proprietress then told me that we should put our son in an institution or hospital permanently as “he has no life and you have no life”. I told her that never in the 27 years of visiting had I heard such attitudes expressed by anyone in Tuscany either in shops, hotels restaurants etc . In fact the complete opposite. So I would advise that if you have a strong moral compass, you care about human rights, or you have a disability yourself, do not patronise this cafe.
