Les galettes et crêpes, préparées devant vous, sont un vrai régal, tout comme les grillades et les plats typiquement bourguignons (escargots etc). Une courte et judicieuse carte des vins permet d'accompagner le tout... sans oublier le cidre bien sûr.Les prix sont on ne peut plus raisonnables, et le cadre idyllique puisque le Lavoir est situé au bord de l'Yonne. Saluons enfin le serveur: souriant et efficace.Un seul regret: l'établissement n'est ouvert que le soir!

Stopped at La Crêperie Lavoir while boating along the Nivernais. Had an OUTSTANDING meal. Our waiter Bernard was stoic but not unfriendly. The crepes were the best we’ve had in France. Desserts were amazing. Be aware that they serve drinks only until 7. Highly recommended!
Stopping in Vincelles on a boating holiday, choices for dinner were extremely limited, all the more so on a Monday night in August. This place is literally on the quay. So we decided to give it a try. The building is rather basic and the first contact with the owner was a bit ‘strange’ to say the least (why do you want to know our opening hours? . But food was good (mostly savory pancakes for main and sweet pancakes for dessert , plentiful and I have the impression that ‘the style of the house’ is to approach customers with a particular style of humor (not unfriendly meant after all . So when around and in the mood for an informal meal (or just a great desert : don’t hesitate. Prices are very reasonable btw, and sitting in the garden on a Summer night, overlooking the canal ... I ‘d love to be back
This creperie was recommended by other travellers and we were not disappointed. As foodies we have not seriously considered a creperie as a dinner destination before, but our views were changed by this place. Our family of 4 enjoyed savoury crepes including one featuring mushroom/snails and garlic which was a highlight as well as a melted goats cheese and tomato crepe- surprisingly delicious washed down with a half bottle of 2010 premier cru Chablis and accompanied by salad. Desserts were decadent including one with caramelised apples, calva, butterscotch sauce and ice cream- YUM! At a total of €80 for four including drinks, it was also a good value proposition
