From a hiking tour we were guests of the fantastic kitchen of luca grimaldi and his family. considering that you can eat very well throughout the piemont la grotta still has a very special charm and we could love the almost magical cooking...skills the carbonara was incredible and on the second evening he also designed a perfect meal with kartoffels cooked in red wine. all best for luca and his family from four happy German hikers!
An excellent lunch was had. Both the appetizers and the soup were truly rich. The ingredients were of excellent quality. We drank a good wine, the local bitters were really good. Advised.
Simple place with very nice owners. Fast service with plentiful and good dishes.
