Serving staff delivered drinking water without enough glasses, served a meal without cutlery. Sadly it didn’t seem like they cared or wanted to be there.
Lovely atmosphere, nice food. Added bonus it's inside the museum :
Good things: ambience; music not loud; art in the wall; extensive menu, breakfast to 16. Coffee comes immediately! Not so good things: menu only in Lithuanian (But waiters speak English fine. Bad things: my son kid meal was delayed I went to ask and they said it’s still cooking. Later they brought somebody else same meal and then to us, no apology at all, just typical Lithuanian silence, zero empathy. I would not mind waiting as adult, but kids don’t like to wait every parent knows that. Lastly while the kid meal was good value, the “chicken” soup was just a watery bouillon with single slice of bread for 3.5€. Avoid it!
Good food and more than reasonable prices. Rare in Vilnius ! Service is a little slow but very amicable.
We went out for dinner and sat on the outdoor terrace. The ambiance at the new Vingrių square was fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the main courses. The chicken was juicy and the jus was delightful. The garlic mayo was also very well prepared. The barley porridge didn't really add much to the dish, and it seemed to clash with the chicken being served separately. The fish was flavorful and cooked perfectly, with the combination of rhubarb flavors working really well. The carrot starter needed a bit more salt, and the tomato salad was a bit too acidic, but overall they were tasty dishes. The hazelnut ice cream was also delicious. In general, a solid restaurant.
