Traditional German farewell in the heart of the old city. they had a special menu for the festival so limited to what we could order. the atmosphere was crowded, funny and loud, as the festival was going on. eating was very good, authentic german...fare! there was no English spoken here and no English menus.
Location: very central, directly at the main church. old, style of interieur. even the toilets. eat: average, ok for the price. handmade frits: more kartoffeln than pommes. service: friendly and hard at the same moment. especially local guests. ok. if you are hungry and in a hurry, otherwise disappear.
The portions are well served and really delicious. the waiter helps us out than we, who do not know what to order. the environment is very authentic.
A really nice restaurant with a typical German atmosphere and extensive choice in the menu, from Eisbein to Schnitzel to local dishes. With a bit of luck you may dine inside a barrel! The food is really fresh and cooked to order. Good value for...money, better than other options in the same area.
