L'Ours - Ville Lambert

We went there as a group of 8. My expectations were not that high as it's a new place and the menu looks somewhat interesting even if it's pretty limited. Yes, the food was good, but nothing exceptional. We were not pleasently surprised, nor were we disappoointed. We have no feelings, period. For the price paid, it was missing the little "oomph". Yes, this is a Montreal-style-concept hard to find on the south shore, but I don't think we will return. We'll think about it.

We took a chance as we did not know this restaurant at all. JACKPOT! Every course was spot on. Potage(soup) parmentier with potatoes and leeks, arancini with cheese and bacon, fresh salmon, fall off the bone ribs. Then we saw all the amazing plates our neighbors were receiving. Gourmet burgers, poutine to die for, thin crust pizza. The young service crew were kind, knowledgeable and quick. Not a five star but a six star experience!

Unique ambiance! Excellent food! It's hard to choose, but we don't regret once our plates arrived! Personalized service! A great place for a dinner with friends! On Tuesdays, Maman Ours allows us to indulge at a very reasonable price!

Great restaurant. Beautiful ambiance and delicious meals. Plus, it's a bring your own wine restaurant! A nice discovery.
