Le Martagon - Villars-Colmars

A small owner-run hotel, Le Martegon is scrupulously clean; good service and very comfortable. Handy for exploring the region too. The dinner came with a big reputation, but ours was, sadly, a bit over-cooked. However, that is nit-picking as it was a great stay. Fun little pub and good beer selection.

Our family had a truly delicious meal here, with regional wine and a very friendly staff who helped us settle in nicely on our first night in France.

We have eaten several times at the Martagon and were never disappointed. The food is excellent, refined, well presented. Receipes are original and tasty. The restaurant dining room has a simple but very cosy deco, with a fire place in winter, and a terrace overlooking a beautiful park in summer. Prices are very affordable. This is also a hotel offering simple but clean and comfortable rooms, some of which located in individual cabins in the park. I have experienced the rooms myself, but friends of mine stayed there and were quite satisfied.

Rien à redire. Le séjour a été parfait. Nous conseillons vivement les petites cabanes forestières. Gérants et employés très souriant et professionnels !
