I recently had the pleasure of dining at Davenport Press for a family birthday celebration, and it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our server, Eleni, was outstanding, providing attentive and friendly service that made the evening even more special. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed yet memorable evening. We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere , eclectic decor and a welcoming vibe. We each had different items, including shrimp cocktails, lobster, shrimp scampi, mignonetee (filet mignon, cognac mushroom sauce), and each one was a hit. The portions were generous, and we felt the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. Overall, we had a fantastic evening at Davenport Press and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon!

With quirky decor and situated near the LIRR tracks, this is a longstanding restaurant with a good reputation. We hadn't eaten here in a while, but the food and service continue to be just as outstanding as we had experienced in the past. The long list of specials and their standard menu give patrons lots to choose from. You won't be disappointed!

This is one of our most favorite restaurants. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The menu is great and they have fantastic specials. Food is delicious, drinks are perfect and the service is great. Looking forward to next time!

The restaurant consistently hits it out of the ballpark. My only concern about giving this restaurant such a great review is that it will become too difficult to get a reservation!

Only have a limited review, but London broil was excellent.
