Orange County Bagel - Village of Goshen

The worst bagel I’ve eaten. It’s like regular bread in the shape of a bagel. Maybe I came a bad day. I didn’t try anything. The coffee was fine but the bagel, again, not good very bad.

I stopped by to pick up a dozen hard rolls for Father’s Day breakfast, but when I placed my order, the cashier asked another employee if that was all the rolls they had. After confirming, the cashier came back and said, “I’m sorry, I can’t sell you a dozen rolls.” No big deal, I thought; I asked for 5 instead, but she replied, “No, I’m sorry, I can’t sell you any.” I noticed there was a box of rolls nearby, and it seemed like they didn’t have enough for the morning rush. I’m really perplexed about how a restaurant can run low on rolls on a Sunday, especially when they’d be expecting a lot of customers wanting breakfast sandwiches.

I just spent $50 on four of the worst breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches were cold, and the cheese in my grilled cheese sandwich wasn't even melted. The bread wasn't toasted at all. This place used to be good, but I definitely won't be returning anytime soon.

I ordered plain bagels, but they ended up tasting like onions. The staff uses the same knife to cut the plain bagels as they do for the garlic and onion bagels, which is why the plain ones have that onion flavor. It was quite unpleasant. I brought this to their attention, but they still continue to do it.

Picked up breakfast for 10 people. Service was good and staff was very pleasant. Spoke with Brent, the owner, and he was eager to make sure that my order was complete and well prepared. Breakfast sandwiches were tasty and reasonably priced. As another reviewer has noted, what they sell as bagels are not true bagels. They are tasty, and make a good sandwich, but they are bagel-shaped bread, not bagels! Looking forward to going back!
