A waitress was nice, friendly.Fried eggplant was very good.

Excellent food. Service not so much. Waitress dropped dressing all over my wife’s pants and on the floor and did nothing to help clean up. I had to clean up the floor under the table so my wife could put her feet back under the table. Seems they are understaffed as a lot of places are but still no excuse for not helping resolve the mess.

We have been to the bull's head multiple times, its one of our favorite restaurants in Cobleskill. Tonight we were disappointed. My husband ordered a steak, cooked medium. The streak came and was well done. The cook on the steak is not the reason for our disappointment, mistakes happen I get that, just make it right. Instead the owner came over and insisted the steak was not overcooked, he said it was brown because of the marinade and even if medium rare was ordered, it would not be pink because of the marinade. My husband explained that the feel of the steak was not medium, no matter the color, a medium cooked steak could not feel firm when pressed in the center with one finger and would not be chewy. The owner insisted it was medium. 5 minutes later, he came back over to our table and indicated that maybe my husband was correct and the steak was indeed well done but again stated that that could not be determined by the color. They did comp the dinner, my husband didn't ear the steak. Overall disappointment with how the issue was handled, just own the mistake and fix it! This was one of our favorite spots.

Great food and atmosphere. A real pleasant surprise.

Service was great our food was OK. Undercooked pasta noodles and the mussels tasted awful. Dessert was fantastic, salad was good but something tasted like a cellar. Not sure if we will be back.
