Zero Dock Street - Village of Carthage

If you find yourself in Carthage, you absolutely have to eat at this incredible restaurant. The rustic decor, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, along with the exquisite cuisine, truly create a fantastic dining experience. I had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful women who are pillars of the community. America is better for having such remarkable individuals. Thank you for a memorable evening!

I will start this review by saying that we have been to this restaurant many times and we always enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is amazing! Because of that, I chose to book a very special party with them. Sadly, we did have a few less thandesirable experiences after I booked and I was trepidations about keeping the booking. However, after a meeting with themanager, who is an amazing, understanding person, all my issues were addressed and the party was an amazing success. Everybusiness goes through growing pains and change. It 's pretty cool how honesty, patience and understanding can make thingsbetter. I would definitely recommend that you give them a try! ????????????????

I attended a work event at this restaurant, and I was impressed by the beautifully renovated upstairs area, which offered plenty of space. The staff was excellent, and the food was delicious.

We were a bit disappointed by this restaurant. Our drinks and the wings were good, but everything else was not so great. They were understaffed (two waitresses on a Saturday night) and although the service was friendly, it took a long time. We waited 40minutes for our drinks and a little over an hour for our food. Our appetizer and entrees came at the same time. They were out ofthe only vegetarian option (that was not a salad) so we all got a pizza. The toppings were good, but the crust was raw at someplaces. One slice even entirely existed out of a dough bubble.

The onion tower appetizer was excellent and paired well with the dipping sauces. Unfortunately, our entrees arrived lukewarm and were underwhelming. A chicken dish was consumed without much complaint, but the haddock and shrimp were dry, and the shrimp were far too spicy for the diner who typically enjoys spicy food. The three of us who ordered the twin pork chops had a previous good experience with this dish, but last night they were very dry and tough. The sliced red potatoes were also cold and spongy. We decided to skip dessert this time. Our beverages were complimentary as a gesture from the restaurant, and we did inform our server about our experience. Despite this disappointing visit, we still consider Zero Dock to be a good venue and chalk this up to an off night. We plan to return and hope for a much better experience next time.
