This is definitely a spot favored by locals. Our table had some wet rings on it, so we asked to have it wiped down twice, but we were just told it was water from someone else's glass. Despite assurances that it would be cleaned, it never happened. On a brighter note, the food is quite good and the portions are generous, plus the staff is friendly. Overall, a decent experience! Best food in Cambridge, great staff who are always friendly and punctual. Those fried green beans are to die for. Definitely recommend if you're ever stopping in town and need a bite. We ordered takeout from The Bog on Friday night, and one of their specials was prime rib. We decided to try one prime rib and one strip steak. Unfortunately, the prime rib we ordered rare arrived extremely overcooked and tough, while the strip steak was good. Afterward, we posted a review on The Bog's Facebook page, and were surprised to receive a private message from the owner stating that we are now banned from the establishment and that showing up would be considered trespassing. This is not how to treat customers, and it's certainly no way to run a business. We are incredibly disappointed!
