Ji Ki Japanese Sweets Cuisine

This place isn’t exactly a traditional Japanese sweet shop. If you’re in search of dorayaki, monaka, or yokan, you won't find them here. The pastries are all French and absolutely excellent, but I was hoping for authentic Japanese sweets. They do offer a variety of dishes on their food menu, including tempura, several teriyaki and katsu options, as well as sushi, sashimi, and rolls. Currently, they’re only open for pickup due to the pandemic. We only sampled the pastries, and the service at the counter was polite, quick, and friendly.

Tried this spot already with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the excellent vibes and fresh food and beverages. 5 stars.

I’m thrilled that The Jiki has reopened! It’s a charming little gem in the neighborhood. They offer fresh sushi, delicious tempura, and comforting Korean dishes. Don’t miss their homemade pastries—particularly the light-as-air cream puffs and delightful French macarons! I also highly recommend their coffee and chocolate. Chef Hansan and Kim are the perfect hosts, making every visit special.
