Contribuiți la feedbackThis is a great spot for a quick seafood meal. It's one of the few places in the area where you can find frog legs, clams, and other unique side dishes. I enjoyed some enormous fried jumbo shrimp that were delicious. As for accessibility, everything is on the ground level, making it wheelchair-friendly.
This counter-service restaurant has two locations in the western suburbs. The breading on the shrimp is a bit thick and lacks flavor compared to other places, but the clam strips are lighter and more flavorful. Half of the seating area is a gaming room, so it's a good idea to consider takeout. Be aware that there’s a 4% surcharge if you pay by card. I avoided ordering the catfish because I was warned about the bones in it. Unfortunately, the sauces don’t complement the breading well, so they didn’t provide much help. On a positive note, the counter service staff was polite, informative, and precise about my wait time.
I ordered a pound of regular shrimp to take home. As I started eating on my way, I noticed that the shrimp were very hard and dry, making them almost impossible to chew. It felt like I received an old batch that had been refried. Based on this experience, I don't plan to return to this restaurant. Service rating: 3/5.
I recommend trying the lightly breaded shrimp. The coleslaw is fresh and juicy, not dry at all.
As a shrimp enthusiast, I really enjoyed my meal here. The shrimp were a nice size, though the batter was a bit heavier than I prefer; still, it was tasty. I recommend trying the jumbo dinner, which comes with coleslaw and fries—it's my favorite! Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5 stars.
