First you reach the stone of Habsburg and follow a little more to the refuge where you can see Chile. The road is a road of car with some steep sections, with an intermediate difficulty. But it's really worth it. The view is unique You can climb to the tip of the stone by a metal staircase. The refuge is a restaurant that operates in high season, two nights a week, and is booked at the golf bar of hole 9, with a minimum week in advance. There is a fixed menu, one lamb night and another fondue, including wine and soda and dessert. Quality is amazing though with high prices that really value it. Arelauquen takes you with 4x4 from the 9th hole in summer and with snowmobile in winter.
Excellent attention, boys are very kind. Abundant plates, trout raviols, are excellent
An amazing experience. Impeccable organization, all accurately calculated. Staff attention cannot be better. The view of the shelter is so beautiful that it fills your soul and delicious food. The snowmobile ride is of low difficulty and allows you to enjoy the view while crossing. Applause!
It is a 100% recommended site in Bariloche. Route on snowmobiles or quad according to the season, with spectacular views. Once above you can see the lake while the clouds pass below one. Good experience, with a simple but varied menu of cheese with different products of the earth and dessert of chocolate fondue. Good variety of wines too. Quiet and special place, as they give their point in the light of the candles.
The refuge in Arelauquen is a unique experience, which I did not get easily. It is a costly experience, yes, but it is an amazing culinary adventure that you will hardly forget. The experience I lived, started from the transfer from the hotel, recommending this especially at night, as we talked about more than three hours with glasses and after the experience on the motorcycles it is possible that you are very tired to drive back to the hotel if you have a car rented, it is much safer to hire the service. Once in Arelauquen it is expected half an hour to reach all those who will climb in the chosen shift, with an excellent bite (fiambres, smoked, bread) and drinks (wine, foaming, sodas), the very friendly staff, is responsible for explaining the experience in different languages for all participants. After half an hour, they all go to the 4x4 jeeps that take you to the side of the mountain where the snowmobiles are located, there the guides explain you how to handle, on each motorbike there are two people, it's quite simple, it takes emergency accelerator and brake, this requires some physical effort to bend in the curves, so if they take some major who go in pairs with someone who can handle it, equally if it is not feel dark When you arrive at the shelter you receive the heat of a beautiful fireplace, a very nice cabin where you will be guided by a series of steps, first a pumpkin soup and a few months with mushrooms, I do not remember well as they are called, but included some photos. Then the cheese fondue, which has improved notably (it was my third time in the place), accompanied by several accompaniments such as dads, bread or croutons, caramelized carrots, apples, celery or celery, cloaked cebolites, fried raviolis, sausages. At the end, they bring you dessert a delicious chocolate fondue with contours such as bananas, biscuits, barks, mandarins, grapes, peaches in syrup. All night drinks are included. At the end of the tour will take place back on the snowmobiles, handle on the two occasions and recommend more precaution of descent, especially if you have any companion who has drank a lot, greater control of the accelerator is required, because the bike goes without much effort. When you arrive you go down in the jeep, and finish the tour. In general I recommend this experience if you are for Bariloche, five points.
