Greeted by a bunch of swarthy, sweaty waiters more involved with shouting across the road to their mates who wanted to show us to a table inside the restaurant which was probably 35 Deg C , we chose to sit outside instead. A menu was plonked in front of us was no sooner followed by that age-old custom of the 'Couvert ': bread, sardine paste, butter, olives that taste like a tramps sock at a cost of 5 Euros. I can hack this because I 'm on holiday, etc... The meals were pretty good Both well grilled whole fish), served with potatoes of your choice a very fresh side salad, olive oil, balsamic vinegar. A couple of large beers at 3 Euros each is great value also: it cost this back in 2016!?!?! There is little evidence of inflation in the EU that is strangling us in the UK...?
Sorry but really disappointed was expecting authentic meal. On arrival bread etc dumped on table as we sat down . Felt very pressurised to order straight away . Seems like high turnover selling job. Meal mediocre at best . Partner ordered kebab most inedible . Must do better lots of lovely restaurants in Monte Gordo
If you get lucky this can be nice restaurant, good value on the tourist menu, and most of the staff especially the more mature guys, are great. But this is a big but) it’s hit or miss. We’ve had some nice experiences here but also some of the worst, with less than average food and poor service. It’s worth trying for sure, but not reliable.
Não recomendo. atum não era fresco e os conquilhas nadam no azeite sem sabor. As pessoas são simpáticas.
Chegámos a este restaurante por sugestão de um membro da família. Menu interessante com variedade, pratos bem servidos. no tempo de verão é apropriado para reservar a tabela. tinha atenção especial para a condição da refeição desde que havia uma mulher grávida na mesa. boa comida e preço agradável.
