El Sol - Vila Real de Santo António

We visited on our holiday whilst in Portugal and ordered seabass and the pork. The fish was lovely cooked well and the pork was very tasty. We enjoyed our food at the restaurant and the price for the meal was reasonable

Muito fraco a única coisa que têm de positivo é a simpatia dos empregados. Comida mal conficionada. Amêijoas à bolhão pato congeladas. Falta de talheres. Espetadas de camarão alguns ficaram na cosinha. Proprietária sempre a gritar com os funcionários em frente aos clientes priocupada com o que vai para a mesa. Pedido a conta veio um papel escrito à caneta. 2 carcaças 1.60€ 1 Cola de lata 3.60€. Recomendo a não irem.

Quite understated from outside but good value. Looks a bit grotty from the road but in fact the home cooked food was very nice and reasonably priced

A family owned restaurant that spoke very little English but we got by between us. Food freshly cooked and staff friendly. Watch out for Mama overseeing everything in the corner!

We ate here a few night while staying in monte gordo and the food was nice. The only thing is when I asked for potatoes in a few restaurants they always appear with mountains of chips! I am too nice to send them back as the boys working there were so engaging and interesting to chat to.They both came from Brazil and they worked hard and were really pleasant to chat to. Food was nice and overall it was a good night.
