A nice cozy friendly place with nice traditional food we ate the codfish wich was realy good! The service was friendly and professional, we were sight seeing in vila real and came accross this restaurante which was very good!

Simple but delicious. We had porc and lamb. Portions were to big for our stomach , could have done with one meat dish. Accompanied with home fried potato chips and salad. Next day, after a long walk we just wanted bread, local ham and cheese and the lady gave us a very nice plate with salade on the side

Based on recommendations, we visited this restaurant for lunch, and were not disappointed. It is well frequented by local people (always a good sign), the service was warm and friendly and the food extremely good. As Brazilians, we enjoyed the simplicity of pasteis de bacalhau com feijao fradinho; an excellent choice! Together with a bottle of local vinho verde, we enjoyed a very pleasant lunch, in very pleasant surroundings with very nice local people.

We ate the "posta", and the food was no doubt delicious. Tender, flavorful meat, nice rice and potato side dishes. We did get asked to move tables randomly and the service in general was ok, but definitely not noteworthy. Suitable for a quick stop with good food.

We were early in the evening, but the service was fast and friendly. The dishes were clearly cooked on the spot and the quality good.
