Taken here by eldest son and fiancée. You would not be expecting a Japanese restaurant by a Portuguese marina, but that is what you have got in an anonymous concrete cube on the waterfront. The views of the Douro estuary are fantastic. We were treated...to the “all you can eat” selection at the surprising price of €18 each. The sangria jug was only €6-50 and absolutely delicious. “Cutlery” was chopsticks, but if you are a chopstick numpty they do supply a “rookie” band or western knives and forks if needed. You can ask for personal tastes to be accommodated, so we went for no/low chilli content. Starters were a selection of “bites”, followed by a rice and raw salmon seaweed cone. Then “mains” were two plates of a mix of sushi and sashimi. Mooli, wasabi and cucumber accompanied. It was all you could eat as once we had finished another plate or two was offered. Pudding was three different creme brûlées, classic, hazelnut and coffee. The coffee could have been a bit stronger in flavour and all three were slightly under set, but delicious nevertheless.
The sushi quality has actually declined several years ago, today even completely removed the thunfish from their 'festival (all can eat them)' menu. the personal does not care enough.
Not so good experience. small variety of sushi. the customer service was terrible when we went to the restaurant. definitiw not the best option to have a meal when they have a baby. this was seen from the personal.
Low quality sushi. I didn't find much fish. we took rodisio. sashimi de tuna really tasted like tuna, not fresh. However, the environment is excellent, in view is beautiful, service art.
