Contribuiți la feedbackI stayed at the Padre Pio estate for a week and dined every evening at the Donna Maria restaurant of the estate. What to say, a journey in Apulian flavors. Excellent food always accompanied by the wine of the estate. If you could even give 10 stars.. beautiful experience!
Very nice place in the hills of Vieste. Very nice and well maintained. You eat very well, excellent cuisine. Very kind staff.
Place ameno, almost zen. Immersed in the green of olive trees, it is very elegant but welcoming and familiar. There is no à la carte menu but the dishes are explained by the waiter. The choice is obviously among all typical dishes and characteristic of the place. We took a coconut caciocavallo, served in a crush. Explosion of incredible taste, taste Puglia. The two first chosen were troccoli with seafood and ricotta and spinach ravioli with shrimp. Exceptional both, super conditi and super rich in dressing. You can almost say that there were some troccoli in the seafood. Very good. Wine map that obviously presents the 3 cars produced, “Cantine Merinum”. A white, a rose and a red, markedly sapid for the sandy characterization of the soil on which they grow. Exceptional all. Friendly and friendly climate in classic Apulian style. Very recommended.
We found this restaurant by chance looking for a nice place to dine during our holiday in Vieste... we fell in love so much that after a few days we returned to taste again the amazing dishes prepared by chef Libero, a young chef who combines sometimes bold flavors to give life to exceptional dishes with presentations curated in detail. We tasted sea and land dishes and we were always pleasantly surprised by the goodness of raw materials and the ability to put them together to create unique dishes. The room staff, and in particular Daniele, absolutely friendly and professional, ready to recommend, precise in the description of the dishes and nice with our girls. Special praise to the dessert dedicated to the legend of Pizzomunno and Cristalda... wonderful to the view and taste, even if we have enjoyed the Terramisu too (even in this case unusual combinations that prove to be very good! and the dry pastry of the Gargano! Summing up: absolutely to try and... try again!!!
For the second time in a week we chose this wonderful estate to taste our family dinner (2 adults and 3 girls). A magnificent place, well-kept in every detail, which allows you to taste the beautiful landscape of the Gargano countryside, among olive groves, dry walls and the beautiful brown-red soil that characterizes the products of the area. The staff is extremely friendly and competes. It is immediately perceived a great professionalism and seriousness, in particular for the interesting and detailed explanations of the many dishes present in the menu. The dishes are prepared and presented with care, imagination and with a particular touch, almost certainly artistic and adapt to every need (see composition of our family) Every dish we tasted has impressed us positively, with delicate combinations and at the same time tasty. Last but not least, we mention the excellent wines produced by the owners who combine excellently with the dishes proposed. In summary we strongly recommend you visit this fantastic estate
